It being listed as one of “World Heritage Cities†by UNESCO, someone said that we would be crazy if we headed off from Belgium without visiting Bruges. So we made sometime to visit this small but beautiful and romantic city.
Filled with canals, boating is definitely the most popular way to go round the city. But we preferred to walk round. The canals, beautiful gardens, the picturesque bridges, the centuries old constructions and cathedrals form an incredibly romantic setting.
The Bruges’ city centre comprises of cathedrals, town hall which is built in the 14th century, museum that talks about the city’s history and its development and ofcourse heaps of cafes and restaurants. Did I mention Belgium fries? Yeah the awesomely popular Belgium fries that go with either Ketchup or Mayonnaise or curry sauce.. yumm
As a city of beauty, charm and romantism I am glad we spent an evening in the lovely city of Bruges.
