Snorkeling at Jervis Bay was unique and fun. While the area doesnt have corals like tropical climate, Bowen island in the region is definitely worth checking out. It is home to weedy sea dragon, blue devil fish, blue groper, grey nurse sharks and the lovely yellow tail fishes.

Paperbark Camp, about 5 min drive from Huskisson, Jervis Bay on the woollamia road is a glamorous bush camping setting! A perfect place to chill out and enjoy the nature and the lovely food from the Gunyah restaurant.

We had a wonderful day with Dolphin Watch cruises during our Jervis Bay trip. Onboard the Eco Extreme, which is their speed boat, we got to checkout the pristine beaches and wild life. Unfortunately the rough seas and the wild rain dint let us get too close to the wild life though! But a ride not to be missed!
Stand up paddling is the one of the fastest growing modern sport originating in the Hawaiian islands. Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle company offers tours and lessons in Jervis Bay, Huskisson and Woollamia and they accommodate all skillsets. We had a privilege to talk to their coach Mel and also get our hands dirty! By the end of the session we could all do it and trust me people, if I can do it, you can do it! And it is a bloody good workout too!
One of my favourite rides in Sydney is the Sydney Olympic Park – Meadowbank loop. A total of 15 km ride, it is very much suitable for noobs and intermediate riders going on bike paths, bike lanes, the Meadowbank bridge. This is one of my favourites for riding during dawn and dusk times given how beautifully the entire area lights up orange!
Bondi to Bronte walk, one of the most popular walks in Sydney, is a walk to remember. With the breath-taking views of the beaches , one of the best sunrises of Sydney, the sand joggers and the early morning surfers and the yoga group this is a walk to be done early in the morning to enjoy its beauty!
About 3 hrs drive to the north form Auckland is Bay of Islands, a bay of over 150 small islands most of them still unexplored to date. With pristine beaches and beautiful Haruru falls Bay of islands is a hub for adventurous activities and water sports.
Aorake Mount Cook national park in South Island New Zealand is beautiful with glaciers, walks, hikes, camping, views! It has everything for everyone of us and the we explored the Hooker Valley walk and the Tasman Lake walk and they were just amazing!
